Hilary Duff, who recently announced she will be guest starring on Gossip Girl this season, is also showing herself as the new DKNY Jeans line’s face and body.


The ads star Duff along with models, Sophie Srej and Gracie Carvalho, strut DKNY in a casual, New York City street scenes. The fall 2009 ads were shot by photographer and blogger of The Sartorialist, Scott Schuman, in Manhattan.

The look is one inspired by Duff’s personal style and the stereotypical New York attitude.

J. Simpson Buffs Up Life With a New Ring

No, Jessica Simpson hasn’t reconciled with Tony Romo, she’s just in with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad.

Monday the star attended a listening party in Hollywood for An-Ya, a Russian singer signed on Joe Simpson’s label. During the party, host, Mouawad, gifted Simpson with a 5-carat, $10,000 ring from his Black and White Diamond Collection.

Although all women would agree a ring like that would put a smile on anyone’s face, it seems that Simpson has other things to smile about.

“If you didn’t already know Jessica just went through a breakup, you really would have no way of telling from the way she was behaving at the event,” a source said. “She really seemed happy.”

In a few weeks, Jessica and Joe are heading for Japan to produce Jessica’s upcoming reality TV show about beauty.

Heidi Montag to Appear in Playboy, but Not Nude

Heidi Montag will appear in Playboy’s September issue, but not nude, according to her sister, Holly Montag.

“She’s not nude,” Holly Montag told Usmagazine. “Her Maxim cover was so gorgeous and tasteful, and I know Playboy is going to be the same.

“It’s really cool that she can be part of the Playboy family. I love it. I go up there all the time and play poker. I love the girls there, and it’s very cool to be part of that legacy.”

The sisters attended the Ryan Checkler X Games Celebrity Classic in Coto De Caza, CA on Monday. Unfortunately, it seems that Holly was the only sister to share secrets as Heidi smiled on.

Stewart and Fanning Look Tough in 70s Apparel

Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were looking ready for a fight while working on their new movie, “The Runaways,” yesterday.

The “Twighlight” star and Fanning costar were costumed in 1970’s grunge while they shot scenes on an outdoor set in Los Angeles.

Why the green squirt gun from Steward, you ask? Supposedly, she was hoping to keep herself cool beneath the LA rays.

Later in the week, Stewart is expected to rejoin the “Twilight” cast at the 2009 Comic Con in San Diego. Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner (costars) will be promoting the sequel “New Moon,” hitting theaters November 20.
