Janet's hair was perfect and her makeup was fresh and flawless giving her a youthful appearance from head to toe. For someone who is 40 years old, she proves that taking good care of your self can pay off. According to Look.co.uk:

Celeb Fave Fashion Designer Convicted of Rape

Anand Jon Alexander, the celebrity fashion designer known for his intricate beaded designs has been convicted of rape will serve a 59 year sentence. Alexander, 34, won't be eligible for parole until he services a minimum of 85 percent of his sentence, which will be in 2075

The South Indian born designer is well known in the United States. He studied at Parsons in New York, his designs were seen on Oprah Winfrey, Janet Jackson, Paris Hilton, Paula Abdul and Lawrence Fishburne. He received a People's Choice Award in 2002 and was featured on 3 episodes America's Next Top Model in 2003.

However in March 2007 accusations of the designers history of sexual assault came to the limelight when he was accused of assaulting seven young women and girls he enticed with the promise of modeling jobs. According to a jury, the accusations were true and the designer was convicted. He faces similar charges in both Texas and New York.

Daniel Vosovic Takes Project Runway Win to NYFW

Daniel Vosovic's win on Project Runway's All-Star Challenge not only boosted his image, but is helping him get to New York Fashion Week in February. He's using the money he earned to fund his trip and he's hoping to make this all worth while.

His Los Angeles win on Aug 20th was a big one because he was up against Project Runway allstars from the past and $100,000 was at stake. Daniel also confirmed what many fans were worried about....the Project Runway network move.

Project Runway's move from Bravo to Lifetime made no difference....nothing changed. According to Daniel. "It was the same runway, the same crappy lighting. Tim was there, Michael, Nina, and Heidi Klum was pregnant again. Nothing had changed."

And Daniel is right, the Project Runway scene was the exact same, the only change was scenery, form New York of Los Angeles. Everything else was the exact same.

Nicole Richie, Designer and Model for Her New Line

The preggers, Nicole Richie, is about to add another piece to her already loved, and super hot, design collection.

Pregnant with her second child, Richie created a new line of maternity clothes for A Pea in the Pod, a high-end maternity fashion company.

“Pea in the Pod is such a known company for pregnant women,” Richie said. “They carry great lines, and so when they asked me to create a line for them, I was really excited and eager to do it.”


As you can see by the pictures, Richie’s unique, boho-chic style shows through the fabrics and designs.

“You feel like you have to change your whole wardrobe [when you’re pregnant]—the last thing a woman wants to go through,” Richie sympathized. “So I really tried to make this line to get women excited.”

Celebrity Catwalk 2009, Hollywood, August 27

The 9th Annual Celebrity Catwalk Fashion show is to be at the Highlands Nightclub in Hollywood on Thursday, August 27. The world’s hottest celebrities will strut their stuff in order to raise funds and awareness for the National Animal Rescue.

Celebrity Catwalk announced fashion designers for the event will include: Heather Mills’ Be @ One, Lane Bryane, Rocawear, Puma, and more. This years honorary host is Bridget Marquardt, “Girls Next Door” co-star. Modeling at the event will be Stephanie Pratt, Pamela and Hayley Hasselhoff, Playboy Playmates Sara Jean Underwood, Heather Rene Smith and Christi Shake, as well as many more shining stars.

“We are thrilled by the response from Hollywood for this year’s event,” Jennifer Bartok, Event Producer/Creator, said. “As a result of our efforts, we are hoping to raise a significant amount of funds for National Animal Rescue.”
