The 2009 EPSY Awards are known for their glitz, glamour, and humor as sports stars from around the world gather to hear who’s the best in talent and popularity.
However, this year the red carpet was full of carbon conscious celebrities who supported the EPSY Awards theme of a green carpet focused on fashion and productions that offered a carbon neutral benefit.
For example, ESP used solar and wind power to generate energy for the press tents, DJ's used solar panel powered booths, the red carpet was made of recyclable fibers and celebrities wore eco-friendly fashions.
The awards, hosted by Samuel L. Jackson, will air on Sunday July 19th at 9pm on ESPN… so you didn’t miss it yet.
